Aston Martin Marks 25 Years of the Vanquish With a 50-Car Send-Off

Twenty-Five Years of a V12 Flagship, Marked in Fifty Cars

Aston Martin has unveiled the Vanquish 25, a limited-run anniversary edition marking a quarter-century since the nameplate first arrived as the marque's V12 halo car. Only 50 examples will be built worldwide, split evenly between the coupe and the Volante convertible, with buyers able to choose either a two-seat or 2+2 layout. Mechanically, it's the current, third-generation Vanquish underneath — the same 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 producing 835PS and a 214mph top speed — with the anniversary edition built entirely around bespoke presentation rather than any change to the car's underlying performance.

That presentation comes from Q by Aston Martin, the marque's in-house personalisation division, which has given the Vanquish 25 an exclusive Q Skye Silver paint finish alongside bespoke exterior detailing and a reworked interior with unique trim and embroidered logos. Aston Martin hasn't released pricing, but with the standard Vanquish already starting at $753,000 for the coupe and $813,000 for the Volante, the 25th-anniversary edition will carry a real premium for its exclusivity and the Q division's work. The car is set to debut publicly at Monterey Car Week this month, with deliveries beginning later in 2026.

Why a Q-Built Anniversary Model Matters Beyond the Badge

What makes the Vanquish 25 worth paying attention to isn't the anniversary framing on its own — it's that Aston Martin chose to mark the occasion through Q rather than simply badging a standard car differently. That's a meaningful distinction for anyone evaluating the car's long-term desirability: a genuine Q commission carries a different weight in the market than a dealer-applied appearance package, precisely because the work is done to the same standard and through the same process as a private client's own bespoke commission, just applied consistently across a fixed run of 50.

GCC buyers have long been among the most active clients globally for exactly this kind of manufacturer-backed bespoke work — the appeal of the Vanquish 25 for a collector here isn't just the V12 or the anniversary story, it's owning one of 50 cars built to a specification no dealer configurator could replicate, with Q's own name behind the execution. A production run this small, tied to a genuine milestone rather than an arbitrary marketing moment, tends to hold both its distinctiveness and its value more reliably than a broader special edition would.

At House of Cars Dubai, we regularly work with clients across Dubai and the wider GCC who are weighing exactly this kind of decision — a limited manufacturer edition against a private Q or Ad Personam-style commission of their own. Cars like the Vanquish 25 are a useful reference point for those conversations, since they show what the top end of a manufacturer's own bespoke program actually looks like when it's applied to a genuinely limited run.
