Icons of Porsche Returns to Dubai This November — And It’s Outgrown Its Old Venue

Porsche’s Icons of Porsche festival is coming back to Dubai for a sixth straight year, with the brand confirming dates of November 21 and 22 and tickets already on sale through the event’s own site. The bigger change this time is the venue — after five editions at Dubai Design District, Porsche has moved the festival to The Square at Nad Al Sheba, a sign of how much the event has outgrown its original home.

The scale explains the move. Porsche reports that last year’s fifth edition pulled in more than 30,000 visitors over the weekend and brought together roughly 1,000 Porsches on site, from early 356s and air-cooled 911s through current-generation GT cars and the all-electric Taycan. Cars come from owners’ clubs, dealers and private collectors from across the Gulf, not just the UAE. Children under 12 get in free when accompanied by a ticketed adult, which says something about how deliberately Porsche is building this as a family weekend rather than just a static car show.

Why Dubai keeps getting picked for this

Porsche could stage an event like this almost anywhere, and it keeps choosing Dubai. Part of that is simple demographics — a dense, genuinely wealthy owner base with a disproportionate number of rare and well-kept cars for a city of its size. Part of it is climate, since late November is exactly the stretch of dry, mild weather that makes an open-air festival workable here when it would not be in July. And part of it is culture that already exists independent of Porsche’s marketing budget — the Friday car meets outside Dubai Mall, the brand-specific convoys, the sheer density of Porsche ownership in a city where a 911 is closer to a daily driver than a special-occasion car. Porsche naming this the biggest Porsche festival it runs outside Germany is a reasonable summary of how seriously the brand treats this market relative to the size of the country.

What it means if you are buying or selling a Porsche here

Events like this matter to us beyond being a nice weekend out. A festival that puts a thousand Porsches, and the people who actually care about them, in one place for two days tends to be followed by a real jump in serious inquiries, not just casual browsing, in the weeks after. It is also one of the better informal readings of what is actually in demand right now in the GCC Porsche market, which generations of 911, which Cayman and Boxster years, which Taycan trims, before we price a car for sale or go looking for a specific one on a client’s behalf.

If you are considering selling a 911, Cayman, Boxster, Panamera or Taycan this quarter, or you are after a particular generation we do not currently have in stock, a weekend like this is a good moment to talk to us — either before the festival to understand where values are sitting, or after it, once the usual wave of post-festival interest has shown what buyers are actually paying for. House of Cars Dubai sources and sells across the full range of Porsche models in and around the UAE, and we would rather give an honest read on timing than push a sale before you are ready.

Tickets for Icons of Porsche Dubai 2026 are on sale now through the festival’s official site, with the event running November 21 and 22 at The Square, Nad Al Sheba.
