Dubai Police Just Added a 920-HP Lamborghini Temerario to Its Tourist Patrol Fleet
Dubai Police has added a new car to what is already one of the most photographed patrol fleets on earth. Multiple outlets, including Emirates 24|7 and Carscoops, reported in mid-October 2026 that a Lamborghini Temerario has joined the force’s tourist patrol lineup, introduced in partnership with Lamborghini Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
The Temerario is Lamborghini’s newest model, built to eventually replace the Huracán, and it arrives with serious numbers. A 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 works alongside three electric motors for a combined 920 horsepower, enough to send the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds. It is, in other words, a genuinely cutting-edge hybrid supercar, not a styling exercise.
A fleet built for visibility, not velocity
As with every exotic car Dubai Police has added since its first Lamborghini Aventador in 2013, the Temerario is not meant to chase speeding drivers. Officials have framed it, as they have every patrol supercar before it, as a visibility tool, something that draws crowds, photos and goodwill at the city’s tourist hotspots rather than a pursuit vehicle. Reports note the car will be stationed at major landmarks where visitors can meet officers and pose with the fleet.
It is also the latest addition to a lineup that has grown steadily busier this year. Earlier in 2026, House of Cars Dubai covered a Mansory-built Lamborghini Revuelto and a Mansory-tuned Ferrari 812 Superfast joining the same tourist patrol duty, both heavily customized by the German tuning house. The Temerario is different. It arrives straight from Lamborghini in partnership with the brand’s own Abu Dhabi and Dubai dealership, rather than through an aftermarket build, and it slots in alongside existing Urus, Huracán, Aventador and Revuelto patrol cars to keep Dubai’s claim to the largest supercar collection run by any police force intact.
What it means for Dubai’s supercar market
Stunts like this are not just good press for Dubai Police, they are a reliable signal of what is in demand locally. A factory hybrid supercar on patrol duty puts the Temerario, and hybrid Lamborghinis generally, in front of exactly the audience that eventually buys, commissions or trades these cars in the GCC.
At House of Cars Dubai, we see that pattern play out constantly. New-generation hybrid exotics like the Temerario and the Revuelto tend to arrive in the region in small numbers at launch, then show up on our desks within a year or two as early owners move on to the next model. Whether a client is looking to source a current-generation Lamborghini ahead of regional waiting lists, or to sell a car they bought the moment it landed in Dubai, we handle both sides of that cycle across Dubai and the wider GCC. A police Temerario on Sheikh Zayed Road is a marketing moment, but it is also an early read on which model will be sought after on the private market soon after.
Expect the Temerario to keep showing up at Downtown Dubai and along Jumeirah Beach Residence in the coming weeks, doing exactly what every patrol supercar before it has done, turning heads rather than catching speeders.
